"Fineries" is a tribute to femininity and I wished to suggest charm and mystery. I hooked the lingerie and necklace on a concrete wall with a big rusty nail to emphasize the contrast between roughness and desire of grace...like a flower on the rocks. This painting is the subject of an article in International Artist Magazine published in February/March 2012 issue.
